Friday night and time for some comedy. Here is a classic bit from the Glenn Beck radio show, reworked with appropriate imagery. The tune is from the old Soviet national anthem and new Russian national anthem, with new lyrics as written by Glenn Beck.
I laughed my tuchas off when I heard this on the radio, and again when I saw this classic youtube video of it. Enjoy!

Beck had a funny story about the recording of this bit. It turns out that when he tried to hire singers to sing this song, every single one refused to record it after they read the lyrics. Every single singer he tried to hire in New York City to sing this song refused. Why? What are they afraid of? Or instead of being afraid of deviant or counter-revolutionary thought, are all the free thinking singers in NYC so joined in ideological lock-step that none of them would break with the consensus decision to do everything they can to get Obama into office? Whatever the reasoning, it does not look pretty for the professional singers in NYC. I don’t want to get any farther than I’ve already gotten into speculation on their motives, so I’ll stop there.
